Gregory Galli
Greg Galli joined Smith, Gildea & Schmidt in 2022 and brings nearly 20 years of litigation experience. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including commercial class actions. His previous experience was primarily in the area of products liability. Before embarking on a legal career, Greg worked as a pension actuary for five years. His unique skills and acumen translate to a robust analytical process and attention to detail, allowing for a probing and comprehensive examination of nuanced legal issues.
Greg earned his law degree from the University of Maryland’s Francis King Carey School of Law and his undergraduate actuarial science degree from the Pennsylvania State University. He is admitted to practice in Maryland. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and coaching youth baseball.

Greg is a member of the American Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association.
Greg was a member of a litigation team that was recognized by Chambers USA, earning the coveted Client Service Award.
Greg has been active in local youth sports as a coach for many years.
He coached soccer in both the Charles Village Recreational League and the Lutherville-Timonium Recreation Council.
He coached recreational and travel baseball in the Roland Park Baseball League, where he helped teams win multiple championships in Baltimore and Harford counties. His teams participate in tournaments throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including two trips to Cooperstown Dreams Park in Cooperstown, NY.
